All tops are a substantial 1-1/2" thick board with a tough 3 millimeter fluted edge band. All hardware is also top notch. You will definitely appreciate the use of heavy adjustable hinges and ball-bearing full extension drawer slides. All file drawers and cabinet doors also include convenient key locks.
