The FireKing Fireproof Media Vault is a compact and affordable stand-alone storage safe, designed to provide the ultimate in secure protection from fire, water and dust for all heat-sensitive valuables including data/information storage media. This includes microfiche, photographic records and computer data on magnetic tape, disk, cartridge, optical CDs and removable drives.

The Media Vault is the only compact and affordable media safe of its size designed to meet Underwriters' Laboratories (UL) Class 125, one-hour specification for insulated record protection equipment. This specification ensures that the interior temperature of the storage device does not exceed 125 degrees when exposed to a fire of 1700 degrees for a period of one hour, and during that time the interior relative humidity does not exceed 85% RH.

A high-security lock is an integral part of the Media Vault's design. This lock is conveniently on the lid and is readily accessible. Parchment finish.
