Chair mats are shipped rolled in order to fit inside UPS size cartons. The chair mats will assume their normal shape, which is flat, but that may take a number of days or even two weeks in colder weather. The chair mat must be placed face-down with weight on top of it for the first few days. The chair mat will eventually flatten completely with no sign of distortion.
